MINDSEYE – seeing beyond
100 VISUALLY CHALLENGED SINGERS AND MUSICIANS TO ENTER THE ENTERTAINMENT WORLD THIS YEAR
In the backdrop of numerous initiatives to unearth talent of the “visually impaired”, here is one bold move from an individual. This year, the entertainment world will experience fresh and new talent from 100 visually challenged singers. Muralidharan, a Landmark Education graduate and Head of branding at Polaris Software has taken upon himself this bold step. While there are institutions and groups supporting such initiatives have traveled a distance, this is probably the first time it’s designed to become workable, repeatable and affordable. The project named MINDSEYE, nurtures a worldwide platform to enable these singers/musicians to see beyond their vision challenge and form a community supported by the entertainment industry to provide career and cash.
Murali says: ". Elevating these talents to the entertainment world will create the level playing ground making the stage a very humane and passionate world of co-existence. These successful MINDSEYE Singers will become the phenomenon for a whole big world of entertainment to follow. The future becomes unlimited, economic freedom with legitimacy becomes the order of the day."
One of the biggest challenges MINDSEYE successfully tackled was the cost to launch. To create sound byte profiles of 100 singers meant cost of audition, studio and related production expenses. It also meant launching these select few on television that also attracted additional cost. To this end, Murali enrolled colleagues at Polaris, industry friends, and like-minded community friends to become Corporate or individual evangelists/sponsors to support the MINDSEYE Singers. Several organizations spanning IT to retail have come forward to support this initiative at different levels.
With such help, the MINDSEYE community has created 50 profiles to be soon featured on two leading television channels that will converge into the gala exposition of MINDSEYE program.
The most important feature of the MINDSEYE program comes from this innovative fund sharing that does not strain anyone’s purse. The cost to launch per profile is as low as Rs 1000/- and the opportunity creation for the MINDSYE singers is 10 fold.

FLOOD FREE VELACHERY
Possibility of your project : FREE FLOW OF MONSOON WATER IN THE CANAL
4k.ms. stretch of canal runs from Velachery lake to Velachery Railway staion and runs till Kaively; purpose of which to let rainwater run smoothly preventing the area flooded during heavy rain. But what we see is that the canal is filled with debris, sacs of waste materials, demolished building debris, plastic materials, etc. The atmosphere has become the source of pollution and diseases. Hence the project for the benefit of Velachery Community. Full length of 4km canal cleared off debris and covered by concrete platform. The space can be utilised purposefully.

1. Pedestrian platform throughout till the Velachery Rly Station (no such thing at present; people have to wade through vehicular traffic & parking vehicles on the By

Rehabilitation of the orphaned old people on the streets
Possibility of the project
To provide food, shelter and medical care above all provide them with safe and secured life
My project involves five stages :
1st stage : identifying the orphaned old people on the streets by the process of observations, talking to friends and family members.
2nd Stage : Identifying the old age homes in the city in the areas where I have identified the old people and try to enroll the trusty and program directors into my community project and I would gather information about what services they provide for the old people. Also I would inform them that I would refer old people as and when I come across someone on the streets.
3rd Stage : call my target communities like friends and family members and inform them about my community project and give them a list of old age homes so that if they come across some old people on the roads they can refer.
4th Stage : I would like to enroll as many as 100 orphaned old people on the streets.
5th Stage : After 100 enrollments I would not stop hear. I would regularly visit these old age homes and check the quality and care in the old age homes and spend some of my personal time with them so that they would feel happy and cared. I would also involve my family. This would provide sustainable plan.

Creation of a Green South India, rich in water and plenty of agricultural produces contributing to the national economy and its growth.
Over the years many of the rivers, rivulets and streams in Tamilnadu, Andhra and Karnataka have dried up or very little water is flowing through them. Vagaries of monsoon, changes in climate had resulted in shortfall of the seasonal rains leading to increase in the dry/arid areas east of the Western Ghats. Moreover, development of human habitation has encroached many of the lakes and ponds that were available as catchment areas for the seasonal rains. Deforestation in the Western Ghats has also led to considerable reduction in the rainfall in the catchment areas.
The project conceived is to trace all the river streams that were existing earlier, identify their sources, trace their courses and explore possibilities to revive water flow through them.

My village is near arakkonam called guruvarajapet. All people of this village are weavers.At present people do send their children to school only upto 7th or 8th. after that they stop their children to work in the looms. because of lack of awareness among people,childern who stop from schools get jobs in looms and earn money. theyspend the money in all unwanted ways and take up to consuming alcohol at a very early age. the parents also have no control over them.such damage happens to them early in life because of them dropping out of schools at a very early age. so I took this project to educate , support and create awareness among weavers in my village, so that they will know the value of education . weavers children need not be weavers .they can be anyone theywant.

The project aims at creating an opportunity by which the abandoned ladies shall approach the local area member of council through Magalir Mandram who along with the support of the big organizations shall provide the necessary training to get jobs to the ladies according to their skills. By this they can live as they wish without fear and favor.
Benefits

Retired professionals can now offer consultations and advice to organizations under “Skilled Shelters Foundation”.
Retired persons will be sent to old age shelters of different regions on rotation for relaxation. Books can be published on their experiences and thoughts about life voyage. Places identified for the project are Hosur, Goa and Mussoorie. Enrolments can bring fun. Open to ideas for adding new dimensions to the concept.

Education for everyone named to educate street children because as of now we can find children begging in signals and in train.This have impact over the country and make the country down in many ways mainly literacy level and this will have impact like

Express Stop is a community project aimed at providing the cushion of stopping all the Express Trains @ GUDUVANCHERY with lot of Possibilities which are in pipeline. The resource will be available to the community free of charge.
