Name of your Project: Combating TB
Over 3 Crore (3 Million) lives will be lost of TB in India over the next 10 years. That means approximately 30L per year are estimated to die every year
Possibility of this project is saving people's life by prevention, diagnosis and treatment of TB.
This possibly can reduce the cost of $23.7 billion (direct and indirect cost of TB to India annually). The cost due to non-productive hours of the affected person
This project aims reaching out 10,000 people in the areas that are prone to TB.
Few hospitals have agreed in principal to set up separate section for TB (aided by Central Govt.)
