Possibility of the project
Providing pure drinking water and clean toilet facility for the people in the slums of Besant Nagar.
Benefits : In India a large population defecate in the open thereby polluting the environment. Also, many people, especially children are affected by waterborne diseases. So this project will go a long way in addressing the health issue of not only the slum dwellers but also the people in the surrounding areas. Most importantly, the people should be educated on the hazards of defecating in the open through media.
