The aim of this project is to handle the biodegradable waste at micro-level. People living in apartments have been enrolled on the benefits of composting degradable waste using regular composting method and vermicomposting method. The main objective is to reduce the amount of waste that reaches landfills which pose serious threat to the environment and to the health of people living around dump yards.
Reducing the amount of waste disposed from homes thereby greatly reducing the garbage reaching the dump yard.
Eco-friendly way of handling household waste.
